MafiaRPG Bot Commands¶

Welcome to MafiaRPG, where you can immerse yourself in a gritty underworld of crime and strategy. As a mobster in your Discord server, you’ll be able to join the “family,” commit crimes, and accumulate resources. Use the following commands to interact with the bot and build your character. Get started by setting up the core channels and signing up as a mobster.

Commands¶

/setup¶

Sets up four key channels for MafiaRPG:

• Notifications: Receives important updates from the bot, such as alerts if your “family” (server members) is under attack.
• Blackmarket: Purchase clothing, tools, and weapons to improve your character’s stats.
• Crimes: Provides guidance on using the /crime command and features random high-risk, high-reward crime tips.
• Activity: Shows the activity feed of what’s happening with family members (mobsters) in your server.

/register¶

Sign up as a mobster in the family. Names must be unique and adhere to server rules on appropriateness.

/deletecharacter¶

Permanently deletes your character, including all progress and items. Use this command carefully as it is irreversible.

/profile¶

Displays your current profile with stats and progression details.

/crime¶

Attempt various crimes with random success rates. Earn money and resources through actions like mugging, robbery, car theft, and heists, which can be used in the blackmarket.

/blackmarket¶

Access the blackmarket for a fee to obtain gear that may boost your stats. These items will come in handy during upcoming turf wars (launching in January).

/ping¶

Shows the latency between the bot and Discord, useful for checking the bot’s responsiveness.
